"The cavalry?" Brennan inquired as she slipped back into the living room. As much as she wanted to scowl at him for claiming that now - towards the very end of the film - it was picking up pace, she was smiling.

It was hard not to, no matter how uncomfortable she was suddenly feeling again. He was enjoying one of her favorite movies, something she'd always watch with her father as a child. Although Brennan did not possess the same belief in instinctive feelings that her partner did, somehow she knew the memories formed by this viewing would never be tainted. It was an irrational thought, one that made her scrunch her face ever so much as she sat back on the couch next to him.

"While I agree this is a good part, Booth, this entire film is something I find interesting." It wasn't quite the scolding she had intended, with too much amusement in her voice as she passed him one of the beers. Brennan clinked her glass against his and then, awkwardly, moved her body a little bit closer. "I particularly enjoy John Wayne's introduction into the film."
