Very nice drabble. I like the pacing a lot, it fits the pacing of the original story.
I like the fact that Sue tenderly undresses Maud, and then Maud just pulls Sue to bed, clothes and all. ^.^

One concrit, word-wise: Other times, it was unconscious.
Try subconscious instead of unconscious. The latter is only used to describe someone who is, well, unconscious (knocked out). Subconscious means doing something one isn't consciouscly aware of doing.
