[Okay so all things considered even if it's yet to be done Sunday went well. Quite well. Haruhi is feeling confident, and she's feeling surprisingly calm about meeting Ed- or well. Calm perhaps isn't the best way to word it. She's anxious, not entirely eager, and deeply on edge - worried about her impression, worried about what she might say or how he might take it or... other things like that.

But at least she's no longer scared. Winry deserves more credit than she's been giving her and she's going to accept that with more trust than she's been giving. Maybe she'll even ask her out for a date night after this to repay how awkward she must have made her feel with this? Who knows. ...She shows up at the house in the afternoon, after school, as agreed on earlier. Before her meeting - she can meet up with them later or not at all, they know what they're doing and Taichi can hold up the fort.

[Right there to answer the door is Winry. Before opening it she looks over her shoulder at Ed on the couch. In a way she almost dreads this. The girl wonders if they'll bring up the relationship, and inadvertently shoot down her husband. But with a deep breath and a long exhale she tries to make sure all of that is gone as she opens the door. It's wide enough so that Ed can see Haruhi as she walks in. Here goes nothing.]

[He's been waiting around for this, so he's admittedly looking kind of bored by the time Haruhi arrives. But this is what he's been waiting for, so after giving her a quick, observational glance, he gets up and follows Winry over to see her friend.]

[Okay inhale... exhale... She looks Ed at the - not quite the face but not quite not looking at him and then decides- well, let's just play this natural. Let's do this Suzumiya.]

Hey, don't get up, I'm coming in! [She says this with gusto as she barrels in past both Ed and Winry, giving a little nod and a wave at both of them as she makes her way into the house like it's her own. She keeps a grin on her face for now, and continues without missing a beat-]

I'm Haruhi Suzumiya, chief of the SOS-Brigade. [That was to Ed and then to Winry-] Do we have tea for this? If not I'm making some.

[Whoa! Totally unexpected energy for this kind of thing. A little stunned Winry slowly closes the door after Haruhi is in.]

No, actually, we haven't...

[That... was not exactly what he expected. Edward glances over at Winry - she looks just as surprised as he does - then back to Haruhi.]

Edward. Nice to meet you.

[Mostly to stop herself from freaking out. NERVES why does she feel then, sigh. She shakes her head and then just marches off straight into the kitchen, helping herself to a kettle and looking for some decent leaves - hopefully it's better than what Mikage's got]

[The blond follows Haruhi into the kitchen. In the cabinets the Suzumiya will find some boring (but not bad) teabags in a box. Help yourself.]

I'll get the sugar - and no milk, right Ed? [She sends a quick, teasing glance his way. But it'll be gone before he can react. She won't push her luck while Haruhi is around.]

[Edward bristles at that, his reaction staying just under the level because she hadn't insisted he drink it. Thankfully.]

Huh, you don't like milk?

[Inane topics- it's hard to do smalltalk, but it seems for the best here. So she just latches onto that like it's a godsend as she starts to get the water in the kettle, get the leaves in, and set it all up on the stove. It's a very mechanical process - hardly distracting when they follow her in]

No, and he's a real baby about it too. [Next she pulls out spoon from the kitchen drawers, and brings what she has to the table.]
