Our campsite! (we were in tents!)
The beach!
We saw mountains!
We drove up to Whiteface mountain (4th hightest in the northeast). There was an elevator that took you to the very top! And this is what we saw at the top:
Lake Placid!
The road that we drove up.
Clouds! does anyone see a woman in the clouds in the bottom right corner, or is it just me?
a storm the next mountain over.
the weather station.
a window inside the weather station (i thought it looked cool).
a tunnel inside the mountain that led to the elevator.
woohoo!
Other things we saw when not climbing Whiteface:
Olympic Ski Jumps from the 1980 Olympics in Lake Placid.
I have noooooooooooo idea how anyone could ski down that super steep slope, fly through the air, and hopefully land without dying!

Pretty flowers!
And I swung on a swing.
