Normally when I get really worked up about something I post a lengthy rant on the topic. I have three years of such rants in this journal, and if you think that's bad, you should see my ACTUAL journal.
Maybe I'll go on a longer rant later but here's the short and sweet version of my latest rant.
The Christian right doesn't support universal health care, even universal health care for children because they argue it will raise taxes. they also argue it will force the insured to wait in longer lines to get service. Well I'm a Christian, and I say if I have to pay a 20% sales tax to make sure no child or grandmother has to go without the medication they need to live a happy and healthy life then I will joyfully pay ever cent of it. If I have to wait in a longer line just because all men are being treated equal and not based on their income bracket to be medically cared for, then I say let the first be last and the last be first, I will happily wait at the end of that line.
If your a Christian and you can find the scripture verse that says I'm wrong, I say bring it on.
