new character
DnD campaign switched. Now in this new version, we only play PHB races, classes, the works. here's the deal. I no longer play a paladin. i play semthing a bit more like me, onyl less religous, technically. I play a class that is pensive, fiery, physically underpowered but mentally incredible. In short, I play - a wizard. Now, as a Catholic, I can't get into wizardry,even in game, but I like to think of it more as a character wielding some very powerful artillery. Let's put it this way. As a 5th level caster, I can blast some baddy for 5d6 dmage, to him and all his buds in 20 ft, they get a save for half, but its still 5d6 damage.
I lov wizards. they are built to survive. If they can't win they can escape to lern how to win, and then return, spells ready,to kick but. they get few spells per day and few known as well, however. they have the innate advantage of being able to learn new spells whenever they please (granted they get a mage library and pay the proper cost) also, they are incredible at making magic items - which can be very helpful to my party. with a whole bunch of haste boots we can definitely kick butt. even with boots of elvenkind or wands of magic missile. dude we can be awesome. all thanks to this class. wizard, you are amazing.
coincidentally, there are pix of me and miki in the hawk talk. woot. oh and miki, u get a solo shot too, on one of the school walls among a bunch of other ppl's pix (i'm talking about prom, just to clear the air here) so yeah its pretty cool.
