NEW YORK WINTER BREAK TRIP!!!

Oct 01, 2006 13:34

So we're doing it again this year, and I wanna get as many people as possible. We'll go to New York City for a few days before Christmas, shop, eat, have one of those fun walks back from China Town to midtown at 1am like we did last year, etc. They were great memories, and we should have more.
For those concerned about money, it's cheap, don't worry. We'll get some exact prices later, but just so you have an idea; last year we paid $35 for roundtrip bus tickets, $35 per person in the hotel for a night, and maybe $10 total for metro travel. Food is up to you, it varies a lot depending on what you decide to eat. The hotel wasn't gross or anything, it was actually decent with a separate kitchen area and more than enough space to hold your things. It was essentially an apartment they rented out as a hotel room, with a foldout couch and a queen size bed.
Things to do: I just wanna go to the Met, see The Daily Show, and pick up some bagels from William's Town (A really Jewish place in Brooklyn).
I'm thinking the dates will be sometime around Dec. 16th to 21st. Manhattan is amazing during Christmas time, and if you're reading this, you're invited. Reply to this entry if you wanna come.

Btw, can you e-mail requesttickets@thedailyshow.com with your name, the potential dates (anytime between Dec. 16th-21st), and your phone number? They won't let me order several tickets at once, so I need you guys to help with this.
