Voldemort was a loser douche and Harry was useless without Hermione…
You know, I already thought this post was made of top shelf awesome/win with the Emperor comparison(brilliant) and pretty much everything else you wrote on here. But this one quote should be freaking engraved. My loathing and disgust with Books 6 and 7 has renamed the series Neville Longbottom, the real hero of the series and the completely useless twit who learned absolutely nothing from his fifth year screw-ups except to become a hypocritical bully but still went on win only because the villian was an even more useless twit who apparently has all the planning prowess of Wile E Coyote and can't be bothered to learn a new spell during the entire time he had been in hiding. It's a long title, but with kids in the house, it's not like could call those books what I really thought about them.
Obviously the bitterness hasn't died done as much as it should, LOL. Sorry about the HP rant, ;)
But quite frankly with Jason Isaacs(sp)and David Tennant in the bad guy gallery for the movies, why am I expected to cheer for good guys when the bad guys are insanely hot? ;)
For a second, I thought you were going to go off on my in regards to my obvious H/Hr 'militant' fantasy, and I am so glad you didn't. My page is a page of love (with occasional dashes of bitterness for balance)!
Not at all. Consider me a first time poster, long time militant of a certain orange colored gourd persuasion that also liked the concept of a certain kind of harmony who has a Master's from WTF University where I majored in "Books 6 & 7: Why Cobbling Together Pieces of Unrelated Fan Fiction Like A Mad Libs Fill In the Blank Game Is Way More Easier Than Going Back To See What The Other Five Books Were About And Writing From That" and "David Tennant, Alan Rickman, Jason Issacs: Wicked Hot Actors Portraying Wicked Hot Characters That Convince Me That Mel Brooks Was Right All Along In The Movie Space Balls With The Line "So, now you see that evil will always triumph, because good is dumb."
Insomnia is a cruel trick played by that part of your brain that wants you to be fully aware of when the sanity portion of your brain no longer cares to stick around, LOL

I was going to major in that, but instead, I focused on "Why JKR Found It Appropriate to Take Minor Characters with No Development and Pair Them Off with Useless Leads/Ginny Weasley and Her Bat Bogey Hex."

I wrote my thesis on that, actually, with equal parts David Tennant as Brendan Block and Jason Isaacs as Colonel Tavington.
