Some people are more real than others.
Our friends, families, enemies, acquaintances, and strangers possess varying degrees of "realness" to us at all times. The emotional center of what is "real" in this universe starts with ourselves and spreads out, almost like a radar screen.
Those we are closest to, are prominent and near and we are conscious of them always.
From there the emotional signal we register for others becomes more faint depending on how emotionally important they are to you.
Like all things in this life, these bonds we have with others do not remain static for long. They increase, they diminish, we nurture and feed them, then neglect and poison them. Some relationship bonds are so great that no amount of time or distance will dissolve it completely. Conversely, I have seen 2 people in close and frequent physical proximity, with a wisp of emotional bond between them (Usually because one is perceiving the bonds of feeling to be much closer then the other one does). All the scenarios I can come up with have 1 thing in common: Imbalances correct themselves because unhealthy relationships cannot survive for long.
Which leads me to this question.
Where do we place our dead? and more importantly...
Where ought we?
Anyone out there know?
