Just finished watching Troy, at 4AM. Overall, I'd rank it up there with PotC, and LotR among some of my favorite movies. Does this have anything to do with Orlando Bloom just happening to be in all three? Definitely not. Actually, I'd say his performances are quite poor. Maybe its because each of his characters are of the type that I find annoying, Legolas being the least so, and Paris being the most. Cowardly and cringing, with a childish outlook on life. Eh...oh well. Maybe it's just that in each movie he's overshadowed by a much more handsome and "manly" persona in each film. From the rugged yet peaceful Aragorn, to the quirky insane Cpt. Jack Sparrow, to the fierce blood thirsty Achilles. Interesting.
I think I'm going to continue with Alexander, sticking with my "historical documentaries" theme for today.
