It's becoming awfully hard.
Hello journalers,
It's becoming mighty difficult to be a Music Education major these days. I'm feeling unmotivated and drained, back in the same place as always. I had a great conversation with Sharon Mac today about how scary and exciting the future is. We discussed the Big Fish theory and how it's hard to know how well you really measure up.
After a really fun Mozart rehearsal and an extremely hip latin ensemble performance... I'm feeling good about playing the trumpet again. It's almost as if God knows when I'm not liking the trumpet... Something good always comes around the corner.
As far as my school work is concerned... I'm not really interested in doing it, which totally sucks since I have the option of graduation this spring. That would be quite nice to walk with my colleagues.
As far as upcoming gigs are concerned... I've got many and I'm most likely working at an Arts Camp this summer.
