you're all obsessed!

Why does everyone take quizzes and post them on their livejournal? Do they hold any validity? Are they just taking up space? I don't know... just wondering?

No idea. Your friends take more quizzes than mine (based on a cursory glance at your friends page). Maybe they should put the quiz results behind a cut?

I take quizzes if I'm curious and post the results if I think others might be amused or intrigued.

It's fun and strangely addictive. Plus, when three or four tests tell you that your result is the devil....you begin to wonder...hee hee

addictive... I can accept that. My procrastination is addictive. I've got an awful problem.

They are something to do. I know when I do those little quizes I post them because I bet others want to do them, and they usually do. They are corny and funny to read sometimes. Of course they have no validity but they are funny.

If your against them that's fine. It's your own journal. It's the decision of the person writting the journal and I don't think you have a right to tell everyone they are "obsessed". They have the right to do anything they want on their journal. Just like you have the right to write what you want on your journal. Just don't read them if you have a problem.

that is why I asked and thank you for answering. I couldn't think of a reason. you've given me a good reason. but some people are obsessed. But it was a good reason and I'll accept it. Sometimes I wonder what the purpose of the livejournal is period. But, I guess its just something different for everyone.

An amusing tool for procrastination! None have any validity whatsoever, but a good deal of them have adorable pictures. (But after a while, you do all the good ones and then there are the hoardes of slop on sites like Quizilla. I'm not the only one who gnashes their teeth when they see the word "your" when the author meant "you're"? [That's still better than "U R..."} Honestly, folks that speak English as a second language have better English grammar than the majority of American... grumble...)
