I feel sick to my stomach in the worst way possible

So, I'm getting up for work when my mom draws my attention to an article in the Dayton Daily News from this morning's paper. Apparently the governor has announced

"$2.4 billion in spending cuts late Friday, June 19. Buried within that was the hit to Ohio's 251 library systems, tow-thirds of which do not have a local property tax levy to rely on."

At first I thought we were ok, due to the fact that we DO have a levy for partial funding. Boy, was I naive...

"When told of the additional cuts, Dayton Metro Library Director Timothy Kambitsch said, "I want to puke is what I want to Do."

"He added that even if voters renew the library levy, currently planned for the November ballot, Dayton Metro Library will have to close some of its 20 branches if the new round of state funding cuts goes through."

If Tim is so obviously upset, then you know it's bad. And considering how small my branch is, I would guess that mine would be one of the ones to close. I'm not sure if Ray's would or not, since I'm not familiar with his branch's stats.

I just don't know what to do at this point. Hopefully this doesn't happen, but with the way the world is now, I doubt that will happen. This completely changes everything... I don't think there is any way we can get a house now, even if Ray is safe. If anyone has any ideas that involve fighting these cuts, I'm all ears.
