(no subject)
Hello again. Man have I been busy lately!!!!!! Well, as you probably already know, I spent Monday-Friday in Durham, North Carolina at Duke University for their Constructing Your College Experience summer camp. It was a LOT of fun. I met so many interesting people and the entire week was spent learning about the college admissions process, applying to colleges, and basically just getting used to probably the closest environment you can get to experiencing the real college freshman way of life. You get put with a roommate you don't know and you have to make friends from scratch. However, the good news is it is probably going to be one of the best times of your life. Anyway, I was really looking forward to it and now that the week is over, I am really happy that I chose to go there this summer. Anyway, on Friday (after the week was over and my parents had picked me up) we headed for the NC coast. My parents have friends who live in North Carolina and they recently purchased a FOURTH home!!! (It's good to have rich friends!) Its a beach house just outside of Atlantic Beach, NC. It was three stories and it had some awesome views and I got a king size bed ALL to myself. Man, I had a good time. I love the beach. I love summer. I don't want it to END!!!!! But then reality hits and I realize that I have band camp starting tomorrow and I have to be there at 7:30 AM because I have a leadership position. So basically I'll be doing that for the next two weeks. Then I'll have one last week of peace before I start school on the 29th. :-( Oh well. This summer has been a blast and I wouldn't want to re-do anything. I hope you guys are enjoying it just as much as I am because before you know it, we are all going to be graduating and going off to college.........Hey, it's another new adventure.
