(no subject)
today i got to school at 8:27 with Danielle and Kylie. We got in the band room right on time, and bc we were exacly on time, not early, we didn't have to work like most of the other jazz band ppl. than we played of stage and junk. I acually brought my plunger to play with today. Than i had to set up the stage for the concert bands. there are soooo many chairs and stands. In L.A. me and Jenna were talking the whole time. We even passed notes in class when we were doin a play. We were being mean to jon (who was sleeping most of the time), but he is the one who started it. In home-ec me and Ben were sitting there doing work and it was funny bc we both kept coughing. once i was coughing for five minutes straight, i even had tears going down my cheeks bc i was coughing so hard. Ben kept asking me if i was done and kept making fun of me. and once we both got in trouble by mrs. larkin, she had said "ben, kelly, hush" and we weren't even talking, we were totally involved with our work too. o well it was fun to joke about after class. When i got home i found my mom makin chocolate cookies with powdered sugar all over them. they r soo good. and than i had to get ready to go back to school. we had a concert that night. i have a finals test in algebra tomorrow too. i had to go to two sessions of the concert bc i am in jazz and concert band. When i got there, i got up to the door and someone is holding it open for people, Jake. and he was wearing a tux! it was soooo funny. so as soon as i got up to him he said " don't even say it" so all i did was smile. Our concert was fun. I found out 6th graders aren't the smartest of us. I left my plunger on the floor so i went back to get it. 6th graders were sitten in the seats where jazz band was before. so i asked them " can u hand me that plunger on the ground right there?" and i pointed and one boy said "that?" and pointed at it and i said "yes" and he goes to some girl sitting in front of him and says she needs this and takes her clarinet and goes to hand it to me. i was thinking "what the heck is he doing?" but i only said "no not that, the plunger on the ground right there." and they pass it to me and i walk away to the stage. *sigh* 6th graders. Jake was so funny anouncing things. he pronounced things wrong but the funniest part was he said "rocky on the trumpet" we were all laughing bc he plays trombone. I got an award too. But it was funny bc mrs. helton told us to give them back after the concert. She will give them back after she engraves our names on them. at the end of the concert i got to close the curtain!!! YES! than i had to go home and study. wow big day.
