I can't remember the last time I lovehated a fandom so, so much. Thanks to going through all the vicissitudes in Popslash, everything else just seems a little, IDK, naive? Can you even call yourself part of a fandom when you like very, very specific things about the source material very much, and not the other parts at all?
Also, swear to god if what I just saw on tumblr is in fact an actual spoiler for the S3 finale of Sherlock, I might punch a wall. AAAAAARRRRGGGHHHH.
Sometimes I wish we didn't have all this social media stuff. Makes for a much more complex fannish experience, IMHO, with more layers to navigate.
