1. HOUSE IS BACK. And omg the ducklings had LOADS of screen time. I HAVE MY AUSSIE WOOBIE BACK <33333 ♥♥♥

2. Which reminds me, the other day I was rewatching House 1x16, Heavy. It was the first time I'd watched it in a very long time, and once I finished watching it, I realised that I understood every single medical term in that episode. It was the first time I was watching that ep after being tested for Cushing's syndrome myself. Thank god it didn't turn out to be that, but I did end up getting diagnosed with one of the ducklings' other diagnoses, which is scary enough, to be honest. Watching that ep has put me in a very weird headspace for the last few days. :/

3. Thanks to the BBC iplayer, I am religiously following I'd Do Anything, which is weird because I HATE shows like AI where they try to make someone famous overnight. I was trying to figure out the reason why I was watching it, then, and didn't come up with anything. I just like musicals? If anything, the show has just increased my hatred for Andrew Lloyd Webber. (Yes, Phantom is a great score, but everything else after that is just overrated, IMHO) For some reason ALW reminds me of some of the really smart boffin types back in my high school. He's all twitchy and shrunken and just...there's something about him that really puts me off. Barrowman is awesomecakes as usual, but with each passing week I disagree more and more with his opinions. Mostly I'm watching to see if they'll get Sonia Swaby back to sing As Long As He Needs Me.

4. I am done with essays FOREVER, but now I have the dreaded dissertation to tackle. I really must make myself an Oscar Wilde icon to use, preferably one of Stephen Fry in Wilde. Also preferably one of Stephen Fry and Jude Law in the same film. Anyone know where to get caps for that?

5. My bank account is taking a beating this month. It's just the whole paying for tickets and everything that's left me constantly obsessing about the amount of money I have left in it. I'm not broke broke, but spending so much at one go has left me in a bit of a shock. And today I just did a big order at Amazon, because the pesky undergrads keep requesting the Wilde books I need for my dissertation, and I'm sick and tired of the inadequacy of the library.

6. Next Monday I'm watching Matchbox 20 in Manchester, and next Thursday I'm in Birmingham for BACKSTREET and soundcheck OMG. \o/
