Please, please, please
Hey there. Long time, no see. I am keeping my promise, though, to keep posting somewhat regularly! It is pretty easy to update my LJ when I am at home and not at school cuz now I have no life.
It annoys me when I don't update for a few weeks cuz then I forget everything that I wanted to talk about! I should just get a regular journal and write in that every night to clear my head.
We went to the camp the week before last. Dad has been in San Diego all summer for work, so Kristen and I thought it was just gonna be us, but he surprised the morning of the camp. The weather was perfect and we had a really good time. Oh yeah, except Dad was an ass the whole week. Whatever, I dunno what his problem was. Memere came up every day with Sam and he swam and played ball in the water for hours upon hours. He loved it; it was so cute. We had a lobster bake one night...soo good. Betsy, Tony, Dianah and Jay all spent some time there. It was so much fun. I love spending time with my friends since it seems like I see them so rarely now. Chelsea spent a few days. We did our usual floating around the lake, playing alphabet games and eating our traditional Ben and Yerry's. Jay even got to join in on those yearly festivities! Oh, and one other thing: we had 3493 bags of marshmallows and Kristen bought marshmallows that are 3 times the size of a normal one. They were grotesque. I hope I am rich one day and can own a camp on a lake. It would be a dream come true.
Oh, I got a job. I dunno if I mentioned that at any point. I have been working as an Animal Care Technician at the AWS for a little over a month. I love it and I hate it at the same time. I do love those little animals, though <3 <3
Wednesday nights are my new favorite time of the week. It is becoming a weekly thing to go to Jay's on Wednesday nights. Mike, Jay, Jimmy, Tony and I went out in Portsmouth last week and this week, Mike, Jay and I stayed at Jay's and played di all night. I think it is so funny how there is a sign-up list for di up at school and people wait all night to play and last night, we had to rotate after each plunk cuz there are only 3 of us haha. Oh, how times have changed. We had so much fun, though. I will never forget last night.
I miss Orono so, so, so much. It was so weird last week to know that everyone was going to band camp and starting another wonderful year, and I wasn't. I was fucking devastated on Sunday. Just devastated. I wanted to throw my things in the car and drive up there. The only thing that stopped me was the fact that I don't want to be up in Orono this year; I want things to be the way they used to be. Life goes on, I guess.
Things are so complicated right now. I need someone to tell me what to do! Like things weren't weird enough right now, something else had to happen. Jeezess. I need to get a magic eight ball. Omggg.
Ok, I need to go finish my popsicle and talk to Jay. Bye.
