happy election day ya'll

YAY for being 18 and legal and adult-like and all that stuff.  I was an awesome American yesterday, I voted!  Granted, the guy I voted for got manhandled in the electoral votes and lost anyway, but hey, I voted. :)

So, considering the fact that I voted here at ISU, which is 2 1/2 hours from where I live, besides for the president all of the other names on the ballot were for local positions and I had never heard of ANY of the people.  A lot of eenie-meenie-miney-mo went on lol... maybe I should have absentee ballot-ed so I could've voted for people in the part of the state where I actually *live* haha, but oh well.

Speaking of ISU, this place still rocks pretty hardcore, despite the fact that the homework and projects stress me out and make me hate my life pretty frequently.
Speaking of rocking, Lisa=slightly pissed and very sad.  Shinedown, Avenged Sevenfold, Buckcherry, and Saving Abel have a concert on the 15th about two hours from here, which so unfortunately happened to cooincide with ISU's last home game against Missouri.  The kickoff times don't get announced until about a week or two before the game, so a guy in my section and I had a plan to still make it to the concert if it was an early game.  Kickoff announced yesterday: 5:30 PM.  Mother fuck and tears.
Speaking of marching band, it's almost over.  Which is a weird feeling considering I've never been here when it wasn't marching band season... I'll actually have free time!  Whatta thought!
Speaking of band in general, I'm in basketball band here too now.
Speaking of my trumpet, I kinda sorta broke it.  Whoops.  It's playable and fixable, it's just a major Debbie Downer that now I'm gonna have to pay to get it fixed.
Speaking of... um... I'm out of stuff.  Peace out, keep it real yo.
