Yeah, ouch. :( I didn't make it into Swisher's studio. I'm studying with Mr. Millsap, the ad-junct professor who came to help out cause the studio is too large. So, I messed up my auditions pretty dern badly...and made it into the bottom third of the studio. Oops. It is kinda a big deal to me cause Dr. Swisher is one of the main reasons I came to this university. No, I don't regret coming here. The alternative (UTM) is not at all what I want. Anyhow, I just wanted to study with Swisher. So, now, I work my butt off and stop slacking so I can improve enough to not be on the bottom rung of the studio. I can get over it, but it's a big blow to my trumpet ego. :(
