ahh leaving leaving
Well, it's real. I am officially leaving to go to another country tomorrow. I won't be there tomorrow. I will be driving tomorrow. Allllllll day. We leave about 7 a.m. from Union City. And then... I'll probably sleep a lot of Wednesday. Either that or be way to excited to. I have no idea what to expect. But you know what? I don't have to go back to school for three weeks. *angels sing* It's gonna be crappy to go back, but I'm not thinking about that right now. I am leaving the country, and teachers are not coming, or calculus. Isn't that amazing? :D
I'm really looking forward to learning about the culture and stuff. Not being with a group of Americans, and just a real Mexican family. I want to learn to cook and to speak and to play the music. I'm taking my trumpet (I have All State tryouts 2 days after I get back. Yeah, nice, huh.) and hopefully I'll get to see some mariachi players. In case you didn't know, I am very excited. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been really touched by all the presents I have recieved from my friends. They weren't the usual stuff just thrown together about this time and stock gifts and stuff. They were actual thoughtful, gift gifts. It made me feel really loved. Thank you to everyone!! I hope I can show the same kind of thought. It's one thing I don't feel I do very well, show my true feelings and let people know that I appreciate them. I like to focus on me a lot. Too much. So thank you, friends, for teaching me. :D
