Wake up Andy and smell the true effects of this war. The only reason he came on was because his ratings are in the shits. Didn't he say before that he did not believe in ratings? I guess when you are at 40% or lower you start feeling the sting.
Let’s hit the timeline, granted why would ever let the enemies know about plans, *yes I do say enemies, because anyone who tries to kill anyone for any reason is an enemy*. I agree with decision there. However, come on now, they have not had any plans they have been *winging it* the entire war. I mean during college we all wing it but college and wars are two totally different things. At least come up with plans and stick to them, don;t just go attack someone based on hearsay and then come back and say Ops no WMD, the war is over and still have massive uprisings. That sends a mixed single to American and to the enemies. How is the 'war' over and we are still suffering massive casualities? How is the war over and we have not rebuilt Iraq yet?
He didn't say anything new, and he encouraged more people to join the armed forces. I for one will never join; I was designed to be one of the people who would be protected since birth by our troops. And as such I say this, *GO TROOPS GO!* When he sends out his twins, and his other family members then we can have a talk. When we see Congress send out their kids, then we can have a talk. Otherwise the troops are just pawns of the administration. At least the UK, the Royals are required to serve. If he wants to prove that he truly supports the troops, he would encourage other members of his office to contribute just like every other family in America has.
Lets all be clear, I support the troops out there. My family has people in the military. If you turn against the troops, let’s face it your very un-American. They are only doing the bidding from the top and at full discretion from the top. If they do anything wrong, lets remember who is in oversight. When a captain's crew has issues and does something wrong, who is held responsible? The captain is and rightfully so. How can you call yourself a leader if you can not control the actions of your group?
Lastly, stop trying to be so holier-then-thou and get off your footstool and see this for what it is. Why has it become so un-American to question our leaders? Why has it become so un-American to actually think for ourselves? Why has it become so un-American to be cautious and use restraint? Why must we kid ourselves with ‘freedom fries’? I guess to make our poor cause seem better or to boost our self-esteem when we know we are doing something wrong. That being said, the guy who created the ‘freedom fries’ has started to ask questions. Is he now un-American?
