The last pancake...

Sep 11, 2007 11:57

I have just eaten the last pancake in the pack I brought up to uni with me, which means anything I want for breakfast in future I may have to cook. That would require going to the kitchen, and probably the kitcehn on my floor as I don't fancy walking all the way to Kizzi's early in the morning.

This is all very upsetting. Not that I particularly liked the pancakes. As pancakes go they were a bit hard and tastless and this last one was mouldy. Or at least, it tasted of mould, but as I didn't notice until half way through I ate it anyway. Any harm that it might have done to me had already been done after all.

Right now I'm sat on the internet, busy avoiding the world but feeling bored with it. I've actually been to my kitchen in search of people and conversation, but it appears everyone is hiding this morning. Mm, well, actually, I did see David and Katy (I think that's her name). They were retreating into his room with a bottle of wine. I didn't feel it was my place to inform them it was eleven o'clock in the morning and that the drinking of wine was self conformation of alcoholism, it's really not my place. I will phone Jeremy Kyle on their behalf later in the year if the problem continues.

I have pictures and things to post, of the campus and my room which I'll post later. I'm going to go and do something now. Other than aimlessly sit at my computer watching an out of sync copy of Galaxy Quest that is. Something useful. Well, an attempt at useful.
