This is the 145th Street stop for the B/D trains in our immediate neighborhood.

I can't help but compare it to photos I've seen of the elaborate abandoned stations nearer the center of the city. I guess they stopped spending money on tile awhile back.

Yes and no... it really depends on where the station is located (will tourists be seeing it). Slowly but surely the MTA is making their way through as many stations as they deem fit for remodeling.
