NEW LOST FAD~~~
Woot, woot! After a month or maybe two months of anticipating, long sad days of looking at Lost blends, to overcome the :( of not being able to watch the show, because Asutealia is so behind in everything...IT'S HERE AT LAST!!!!!!
lOVE LOVE IT AND LIVE IT! seeing the ads reminded me of Lord of the flies and watching it confimmed my predictins that it as somewhat like lord of the flies. I must admit i hated the book. Well not so mch hated it, but didn't like it/ Why? some ppl like Leanne might ask. Because it was way to eerie and creepy for me, a dark story which is quite disturbing all through and although it is similar to lord of the flies i still like it. You know when you watch something/see something and all of a suden past lessons emerge and connect with what your seeing and then you become excited and jumpy, It's something like that.Because the associations between lost and LOTF are so strong, i kind of feel happy that i acutally KNOW something!
Back to Lost now. Well dom monghan is a scuh a fuuny character, quite over thrilled to know that because i thought he was going to be some serious character all based from the ads and blends that i have seen so far. Emilie de ravin; the pregnant lady or may i say girl is rather cute. Her face is simply adorable. I woudn't say she's the most drop dead gorgeos person in the wrold but she has her own sense of beauty.
Mmm other charcters that i like: kate and oh yes jack- but as the show progresses these likings will change of course! The show creepy? a little here and there.
Okay here are some simlilarities that i've picked off from the news article, see for yourself how close the messagaes of LOTF and Lost are :
1."by episode the rest [of the group] have splintered into 2 groups"
2. The real trheat to survival was not what lay waiting in the jungle but the darkness witihn the characters itself...sounding familiar?
3. "It is a preocess of wathcing what happens to ppl for whom civilsation has been stripped away"
4. "All the rules and expectations that society imposes on us...are takem away in a survival of the fittest"
5."some ppl don't want to get off the island b/c what we have become here s preferable to what we have to go back to"
6.'There is no qu. this is about characters battling their own demons. "
7."The most terrifying thing about the island is not the monster...It's the human beings"
