Can anyone tell me what are THE essential Mods to have for the Sims 3?  I need some help, please.

Depending on who you ask, either Awesomemod or Twallan's Master Controller and Story Progression are the "must have". I personally prefer Awesomemod but there are many who prefer Twallan's mods. Horses for courses. Basically, I would say that some sort of story progression (Twallan's or Awesomed) is pretty much essential as EA's version of story progression sucks
