I would like to humbly praise your words on this subject. They frame the issue in a particular way that I find inspiring. I have seen a similar point touched on previously in this debate, but you have worded it exquisitely.

I have to admit that a year or two ago, if someone asked me if I thought it was okay to have a same-sex duo on the throne, I would have said no. But when Master Giles and Master Giuseppe were named to be the heirs to the Barony of Gyldenholt I had to take my assumptions out and give them a good hard look. And I did. And my assumptions were not right and not fair.
