Scheduled for Production

Your MINI has been scheduled for production and will begin to move through the "birth canal" at our Oxford plant, one of the most modern and advanced production plants in all of Europe. With our extremely rigourous quality control standards in place, you should rest well knowing that your baby is in the best of hands.

Perhaps we can get our kids together and let 'em play.

Supposedly this puppy beats corvettes off the line.

The S? Not the new Vette. Maybe with the John Cooper Works package (200 horsies) it'll beat an '04 base Vette, but the new Vette comes standard with 400 horsies, and the Z06'll probably have 500. I love me some Mini, but it ain't got it like that.

As for cuteness, however, our adorable Mini has it all over the General's brute.

Read in a Brit car mag about some crazy fuckers stuffing the V-6 out of an M3 in a Mini, stripping out the innards to racing standards and giving it all-wheel-drive. That would beat a Vette. As bad as UF beats Vanderbilt every year.

Oh, man, an all wheel drive Mini, that would be a monster. With a M3's V6 no less. But where would you PUT that engine? I mean, strapping it to the roof would give you certain aerodynamic problems, don't you think?

That car is a rolling version of ten pounds of shit in a five pound bag: they somehow managed to stuff the engine in the front end. Don't ask me how. There may have been a deal with the Romulans involved.

Don't tell me the damn thing has a cloaking device, too?

Nah, negotiations fell apart after the Merlin refused to give up Excalibur for it.

But they did get some really nice emissions control tech out of the deal.

It's gotta be the freakin' quantum singularity. You gotta love those pointy headed little bastards.

Actually, that bit about the Romulans was bad intelligence. Turns out Dumbledore drives a Mini and decided to do those blokes a favor.

So when you see the guys at Team Ferrari with confused looks on their faces next year during Le Mans, just think of the cool old guy with the pointy hat...

Really? Did you opt for the 200hp engine or the 115 one?

Actually, Kev, the base Mini has 115, the S has 160, and the John Cooper Works has 200.

The Works package is a $4,000 option.

And racing is the only true way to prove your new baby's worth. I'll be ready!
