Monday really sucks. A lot. I could probably go on some tear saying how I didn’t feel like I had a weekend, but the truth of the matter is, I had a pretty great weekend all in all. By the way…
PLEASE GO SEE FRANKENSTEIN THIS WEEKEND. Seriously, it is such an amazing show. I have now watched it non stop for the last week and I’ll continue to watch it non stop through this week and I still haven’t grown tired of it.
That’s really saying something.
maladr1n has created an amazingly rich environment for this process and for the show itself. He has found moments and directed moments that just make me say “goddamn!” tampafats has been working his ass off to make the set look amazing, actorkat has made an already good looking cast, look even better and to watch spprs and critus move through the space… man it just makes me proud to be a part of live theater and in particular, Jobsite Theater.
I’m not typing this to kiss anyone’s ass, I think you know that I am rather lousy at that and when I try to be even remotely complimentary it usually comes out highly p-tarded. But the way I figure it… anytime I can spend approximately, 24 of the last 72 hours (I count HUB time and lunch time) with you fucking people and still look forward to rehearsal tonight, well… you must be doing something “highly entertaining”.
Everyone else… www.jobsitetheater.org get a ticket, enjoy an amazing experience that will remind you before we dumbed down our Halloween “villains”, they had a moral lesson to teach us.
