Just finished reading.
I just finished reading Beyond the Pale by Mark Anthony. I picked it up because it was one of the many books on my shelf that I owned but have not read yet. I also have books 3 and 4 in the series. I don't have book 2, and I'll tell you that it sucks being broke. Trust me, if the book had been bad, I would have all the money in the world to go and get book 2. Alas. I really enjoyed this books. The plot did feel a little contrived and at points I did feel myself thinking, "isn't this the same as in this other book by this other famous author??", but I couldn't get over the writing of this novel. I really felt like he was writing just for me. I was pulled in by the very beleivable characters. The story is your same old, people from this world get pulled into another world and are the only ones who can save it, but I really liked the feel of the writing. It kept me with the book till the very end. Now, I can't wait till Friday (payday) so I can get book 2.
