I'll be the first to admit that I know nothing of J. Edgar Hoover. That was just the result of me being an ass while trying to think of a witty title for Jess' thesis paper. I suppose that I will be learning more about him in....seven days? The new term is coming up soon. I'm going to miss my chemistry class. As much as I am not looking forward to the next school year (due to the departure of many close friends), I'm really excited for physics, both the honors and A.P. variety.
Mmmmm...Rensselaer! I can't wait to go see the school in person. Which hopefully will be soon.

Districts was fun. I love playing in orchestras. Pat's mother was right on when she said bassoons look more at home in orchestras. Such fun! I'm really going to miss it. Nabucco Overture, hopefully you and I will meet again. However, the end of districts means All-State auditions are even closer. I'm feeling pretty well about it now. Before today I wasn't looking forward to it, but, after my mid-term playing exam with Reidy, I feel a lot more confident. She thought I was playing well, as did Becky today. I'm going to play a good chunk of it, it not all of it, tomorrow for my students. Vivaldi's bassoon concerto in a minor. He wrote thirty-eight bassoon concertos, three of which are in a minor. None in A Major though. Isn't that kinda weird? Eleven more days! I plan on getting a good hour or two of practicing in every day. And making a recording of me playing the piece. Reidy suggested that. I think it'll help a lot. Quabbin Valley is soon too. I got principle chair in that too. I guess this is just my year! I don't even plan on looking at that until after the twenty-ninth. Light Cavalry Overture though? It's the shit. I can't wait to play that in class again.
Battlestar Galactica Friday. Be there, or you're a fraking Cylon.
