Make a soundtrack for your life, matching songs with the following:
Opening song: "Everyday" - Dave Matthews Band, and I'd want all the hugs the guy in the video got, too.
Waking up: "Clarity" - John Mayer
First kiss: "For Me This Is Heaven" - Jimmy Eat World. Now obviously that doesn't apply to that first one back in middle school or whatever, but I'm thinking more about that first kiss with that person when you're like, "So THAT'S what I've been looking for."
Falling in love: "Head Over Heels" - Tears for Fears
Seeing an old love: "Always Something There to Remind Me" - Naked Eyes
Heartbreak: "Standard Lines" - Dashboard Confessional (of course!)
Driving fast: "Ready Fuels" - Anberlin
Getting ready to go out:
Partying with friends: "Are You In" - Incubus
Dancing at a club: "I Can't Dance" - Genesis (easy hehe)
Flirting: "Faded" - Soul Decision, not like my reputation needed THAT one, lol...
Feeling sexy: "Frontin'" - Jamie Cullum (hah that one was tough)
Missing someone: "Snowbirds and Townies" - Further Seems Forever, but that's only for long distance situations
Summer vacation: "Longview" - Green Day
Fighting with someone: "One Step Closer" - Linkin Park. A very aggressive, selection, yes?
Acting goofy with friends: "I'm a Cucumber" - Brak
Feeling depressed: gotta be Dashboard, haha, those emo bastards. hm, I'll go with "Again I Go Unnoticed"
Christmas time: "Santa Clause" - Harry Connick, Jr.
Falling asleep: "Here In My Room" - Incubus. kind of a funny story; the mikes, sean, matt harris and i were driving back from a billy talent-and-other-stuff concert, and we were pretty exhausted, well i know i was, and so i was passed out and totally zonked on the seat in the car, and i guess lebby was about to fall asleep too so he blasted "here in my room" to keep him awake, so now i always associate it with being immensely tired, i guess.
Closing song: "Claire de Lune" - Debussy, you may remember it as the orchestra song played as Ocean's 10 (since he's going to jail) all meet out by the water fountain towards the end of the film.
