[Daily Mantra: I am now the proud, beautiful, blue beast of Hogwarts of unsurpassable strength and determination! I shall tackle each day head on with unbreakable, youthful resolve!]
You would not believe it...
Gai-sensei and I were heading to the airport early this morning to catch my 7:30 am flight to Hong Kong when he stopped in his tracks and stared at the newsstand, mouth wide open in utter disbelief:
Why am I not jumping for joy at the moment? I will explain for those of you who are not speakers of Japanese. Apparently, Hogwarts is being criticized for accepting a 'squib' into the Wizarding school. The front page says:
"Konoha's 'Squib' Accepted into Hogwarts..."
"Hogwart's standards are declining, says some."
When I saw the paper, my spirits died a bit. I do not exactly appreciate being tagged as Konoha's 'Squib'...
I wonder what my parents will think...Fortunately, my parents cannot speak/read Japanese...
Before I boarded the plane, I realized something else very heartbreaking - When I leave Konoha to go to Hong Kong, I would have to go from Hong Kong to Scotland to get ready for school...
This would be my last time seeing Gai-sensei for a long, long, long time...
We both realized it at the very same time...I knew it when he turned abruptly to look at me. His eyes watered. We cried and embraced...I never thought I would have to leave Gai-sensei so soon...
To go live at a place I have never seen before...
I miss sensei already...
....I wonder why they used a picture of me when I was 10 years old...?
