A post about gas prices in one of the political communities I visit gave me an idea. The technology actually exists, it's just a matter of lifestyle and priority change. Although I am not a big fan of land yacht SUV's, we do know that I LOVE my gas guzzling 9-11mpg Chevrolet Corvettes, Pontiac Firebirds, and Ford Mustang GT's. Back in the day I would have laughed at the idea of buying one of these vehicles as a choice, but these days, it's getting more and more attractive:
