Texas Democratic Debate...

I watched the debate in it's entirety. I love the fact that Hillary got booed over the "Xerox" comment. It's silly to accuse someone of plagarism when they quote a friend or advisor. Give me a break. Is that the best she can come up with? If so, that should tell you something about Barack.

I thought they were very civil, and did the right thing for voters- they talked about the issues and kept the pettiness to a minimum. There were a couple of questions I felt were purposely laid to prompt mudslinging, but neither candidate really ran with it as much as they could have.

I still feel that Barack has the upper hand against John McCain in the general election concerning the Iraq War, and the fact that McCain admittedly has no real grasp of economics in the midst of a recession. Also, the fact that McCain embraces Bush politics at a time when Bush's approval is less than 40% shoots himself in the foot no matter who the democratic candidate is.

Well, we all know who I'm rooting for. I thought he did an excellent job, and I appreciate that he refrained from mudslinging and instead focuses on the issues.

obama, clinton, politics
