I usually just come and read other peoples journals (mostly todd and jd's)
but tonight i finally get around to blogging a little of my own. considering how many ages ago i did id say its about time anyways. school is going just fine, took a summer class this summer and its the last time ill ever have to take this stupid english course. im pretty sure i have 100% chance of passing this time with a b at the least. well see how that turns out. im just excited about taking more autocad related courses considering im through with all the core classes i need with the exception of a few. red lobster hasnt change with the exception of a new manager that i despise. his name is jason and he pretty much rides on a permanent power trip the whole time hes at the restaurant. other then that im ready to quit but struggling to stick around til that second vacation paycheck comes through (aug 21st). crossing my fingers that i make it that far. id really like to intern for an architect just to kinda watch of their shoulder and learn some things about what i plan on doing in the future. i want a house and i want it now! i know when the time comes im going to be so stressed as to how jamie and i envision it that were going to kill each other over what we want. but it will still be awesome.
weve managed to get the past two weekends off to enjoy ourselves and hang out with friends and family and go to six flags. the first weekend. we went down to harlingen and visited with jamies grandmother, sister, cousins and whatnot. had a good time went to the beach. on a rather depressing note jamie witnessed a poor dog get struck by a truck (which didnt even bother to stop and help) and i was unlucky enough to have to carry it to the side of the road where its owner ended up turning up after crossing the busy street (from the supermarket he purchased a six-pack from) just to try and communicate with him and let him know that someone hit his dog and fled and jamie and i turned around to check on him. the poor thing must have died on impact. i pretty much started to tear up over it i felt terrible and ill i could think about were our puppies. SPECIFIC stupid assholes in the valley area. the rest of the weekend we ate a lot of el pato for jamie and spent some time with her sister and went to a pool joint where i was pretty much the coolest kid in the place. fo real.
this past weekend was much better in my opinion jamie and i went to six flags over texas, the first time shed been back since she went with her father (who i failed to mention we visited on fathers day). jamie paid for EVERYTHING. we had a really good time and took some great pictures:

we had a great time and spent around 9 hours if not more at the park. it wasnt too busy but there were a bunch of idiots there that jamie and i made sure to make fun of. we visited our good friend blake on the way back but didnt stay long because we wanted to get back to the puppies.
i had an amazing time and jamie cant wait to go back. but for this weekend it work work work to pay the bills bills bills, but stimulus check should be in this weekend so that should help.
i want an iphone 3g.
