THE BASICS
Name: Edo Phoenix. It's occasionally romanized as Ed, but it's written as Edo in canon, so there you go. From what I've heard, phoenixes were common in Edo-period art, so that's apparently his namesake.
His dub name is Aster, but we don't talk about the dub in this house.
Age: Estimated as 15 at first appearance and 17 by the end of the series.
Height: 175 cm / 5'8.89" (manga stats)
Weight: 56 kg / 123.2 lbs. LMAO OKAY MANGA. O K A Y. He's an athlete, and fairly muscular, so I'd estimate it's more in the 160 lbs area.
Nationality: No one really knows. Fanon likes to say he's English, since many of his cards are based on English literary characters and other figures (and his father designed these cards, so) but in the manga he's more likely American. Whatever the case, he's presumably a Westerner. Since canon never gives a definitive answer, I'll just go ahead and say English.

Deck: Edo primarily uses a D-Hero (also referred to as Destiny Hero) deck, the darker foil to Judai's bright and fun E-Heroes. Edo also has an E-Hero (/Elemental Hero) deck, though, and is quite proficient at using it.

SEX AND SEXUALITY
I'm going to have to rely a lot on headcanon here, because unfortunately Edo shows no trace of interest, be it romantic or sexual, over the course of the series. Then again, this itself is telling.
Edo is not a very sexual being. He's considered attractive and charming in-universe, with tons of fangirls (hey, he's a celebrity), so it wouldn't be a stretch to say sex is available to him. He just doesn't seem to care. Basically, he prioritizes - he puts so much into his work that there's little time for anything else. He look down upon indulgence, and in the end wouldn't put much value in non-productive things like fucking. That's not to say he lacks sexual instinct - he just has an extremely tight leash on it.
In my opinion, he'd be pretty inexperienced upon his arrival to Zodion, but he's not a virgin, and he's not afraid to get down and dirty. Fear has nothing to do with it, after all - just disinterest. He can be idealistic at times, but mostly he's pragmatic, and has no problem separating sex and love.
His sexuality is... extremely ambiguous, since he displays no inclination towards anyone. In my opinion, though, he cares much more about the emotional connection than the physical one. He doesn't need to love his partner, but he would prefer to respect them (in terms of intellect or force of personality), or at the very least find them interesting.
