whole lotta suck
Up side: I have Jon.
Down side: the directions to the hostel I booked sucked, so it took us 30 minutes to find somewhere that was supposed to be 5 minutes away. When we finally got there, they didn't have our booking down, despite my having booked it 2 months ago with confirmation email. Instead, they pay for our taxi to stay in another hostel which is in a part of town so shady that I'm afraid to go find dinner despite not having eaten since breakfast. We carried our luggage up 4 flights of stairs to find our room directly opposite the bar, which is LOUD.
Jon is napping and I pretty much just want to cry because I'm so very unhappy with this place. It is not what I booked, it is not what I wanted, and now I feel like we have no choice but to stay here.
So mich for my romanic night in Athens with Jon.
