I am beginning to appreciate our relationship more and more lately. How flexible to each other we have become. I appreciate having different opinions and meeting in the middle. I appreciate your willingness to provide and take care of me like I try to do for you. I appreciate just having you. Having someone to spoon with at night even if we argue and I'm being grumpy.. you still roll over and holds me because you know that is the ultimate comfort to me (even if he finds it uncomfortable at times). I appreciate the opened doors, the kisses goodbye, the compliments even when I'm running on day 2 1/2 without a shower, the warm "I'm home!" hugs, and the "whoooo's that laaaady?" greeting when I'm making lunch followed by a whistle or your big arms engulfing me. I appreciate having someone to joke and laugh with, because my humor can be one of a kind and in some people's opinions, not very funny (possibly embarrassingly funny). I appreciate having someone who will sit through Spongebob Squarepants will me and not complain just because I sit through Chop Cut Rebuild and so many others. I appreciate our similar taste in poor reality television. I appreciate when you clean, do dishes, or any sort of housework. I know you don't have all the time in the world like I sometimes make it seem and I'm sorry for that. I appreciate how you still think I'm gorgeous when I'm teary eyed, puffy eyed, snotty nosed, greasy haired, sweatpants and huge t-shirt wearing, coughing, whining, and sick as hell. I appreciate every home cooked meal you provide me with and how you make sure food is just the way I like it. I appreciate every stupid nickname we give each other and you allow me to call you "booger" even when your friends have read it in your text messages. I appreciate that you talk about me and you never air any problems we have to anyone, but your mother or your brother at times (not details though), but I trust you and the words you say. I appreciate everything you do with me and all the time you spend with and on me as well. I appreciate your smile, your goofy laugh, the way we fit perfectly. I appreciate your kisses, your hugs, your text messages and your fridge notes. I appreciate the compliments, the opened doors, the settling, and the changes. I appreciate every penny, every expression, every word, every feeling from you. I appreciate everything. I appreciate you more than you know.



Dear boyfriend who now has a job now and is working lots and going to school at the same time,

I love you lots lots lots and appreciate you and everything you do for me so much. I will rub your feetsies like you did mine after work and take care of you even better than before. Thank you for being mine, you are amazing and wonderful and words cannot describe how much you mean to me.
