Dear Billy Spreads,
I would like to argue in the favor of the "Quick and Easy" selling point of Trader Joe's. Sure, you can make better risotto if you put some time and effort into it; however, when I get home from work, dead tired and starving, those 45 minutes it would take to make a nice meal don't seem worth it. On the other hand,5 minutes risotto is hella appealing. Throw it in a pot, throw a sausage in the broiler, and you've got a pretty decent meal in 10 minutes.

Also, consider people who don't know how to cook, college students, working moms who have to take the kids to soccer practice, etc., and quick and easy is a fantastic alternative to other options, like donalds or Spaghetti O's.

Love,
Lexx

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic, so I will answer truthfully. It's a rice dish made with wine, parmesean, and basically anything else you want to put in it.

If you are being sarcastic, then fuck you.

Oh. My bad.

Weren't you here when I made my mushroom risotto with the feta and olive-stuffed chicken? My birthday a couple of years ago, the first time we ever played Scrabbledash.

I can only tell the difference a little bit. Mostly when I cook fancy things, I think they just taste good because I'm so hungry by the time I'm done.
