I do not appreciate the implication that refusal to obey your whims is direct neglect to my duty as a father and husband. I do not consider you, of all people, particularly qualified to cast any such judgment. And yes, I have read your file.

If I am to believe the tasks set out for me are your idea of education over simple mockery, then we shall do it like this; I will complete them without your supervision or interference. We can ruminate on the value of lessons learned when it is not four in the morning.

In the meantime, you can restore my quarters to their proper form.
