A New Year...
That year really went fast. It's kind of scary, actually.
So, just a couple of quick things, though.
First, Juno is an incredible movie in every way. Not even exaggerating. Go see it.
Second, I went to P.F. Chang's for the first time for dinner. It was delicious. The won ton soup was actually worth having because it was actually made differently and kind of makes me never want it from a Chinese take-out again.
But, what was interesting about this trip was who walked up to me half way through my meal to say 'hi.' Stacy Hunt. Who would think I'd even mumble that name again? She's apparently a waitress there and somehow recognized me, despite my scruffy facial hair and actually looking a bit older. We had a quick talk and whatnot, but it was actually really interesting to see her again. It just reminded me of high school and the times when I was younger. And she's as nice as I remember her being. I always did get along with her. Too bad she hung out with all the ditzes of my class.
But, I just wanted to make a quick note of these events. Just a quick flash from the past. You know how it goes.
And as for the new year...I drank a lot last night and then got up at 8 so I could be to work by 9 for a 9-6:30 shift. I was drunk for the first couple hours of it and then hungover for the rest. It was wonderful. And now I'm beyond exhausted.
Oh, and Mary Beth was with me for all of this and it was wonderful. Because she's my baby and I love her. <3<3
