Some New Happenings
Well, Monday my Dad went out of town for a few days, giving me the house to myself. I got my gecko that day and named him Yoshi. He's pretty awesome, but still a little scared of people.
Tuesday I had some people from work over and we watched Animal House...kind of...it was kind of a fucked up evening, but things worked out.
Wednesday Al came over and stayed the night. We played video games and watched movies. Fun stuff, really.
Thursday I packed for school and my Dad came home that evening.
Friday I packed my car and left for school around 12:30. I got here at around 2:30. A group of us went out for dinner and Snakes on a Plane later. Surprisingly, Snakes wasn't an awful movie. A little ridiculous, but not awful.
Today I got up about an hour ago. Now I'm waiting for Feldman (my roommate) to get here, so we can go out and get some paint for our room. We're planning to paint the walls and desks and recarpet the floor. It'll definitely be some work, but worth it in the end.
So I'm finally calling AXP my home. I can deal with that. It's comfortable here, though a little messy. But that'll get cleaned up next week during work week.
And, of course, I've still got that girl on my mind. And I talk to her all the time. I'll have to visit her this semester sometime.
But, it's time for me to go.
