Halloween

Halloween was fun.

I told Jay that I was going to wear a scary costume but he said you better not, wear something sexy. After a short thinking session, I happily obliged.

A couple of yeas ago, I wore a scary clown costume and I was miserable for most of the night as I couldn’t breathe through the mask (it was fogging inside the see through mask LOL) and seeing all of the hoochie sexy attires the other girls wore,  I was envious.

We couldn’t find our way to the house where the Halloween party was supposed to happen at first, but after a few minutes of arguing over which road to take and exasperated outbursts coming from my gold clad body we found it.

We walked in to a crowd of monsters, lego man, angels, devils etc.  I breathed a sigh of relief as my biggest fear was to walk around in my gold digging costume while everyone else was wearing normal everyday clothes. (How cruel a prank it would have been.)

He brought Corona to the party and I brought Belgian beer.

I rarely drink beer but the one I had was good.

Parties can be nerve wracking especially if you don’t know most of the people. So I had a swig or more of my drink and pretty soon I had the loudest laugh in the room (as compared to the other girls).

All in all I had a great time. I got to see friends and chit chat with them. (How’s life, how’s everything, who you dating now, where’d you get that costume blah blah blah).

I got to see Matt, my former housemate and my perennial gmail chat buddy. I haven’t seen him in months, he had a bobcat costume which looked half done.

We left the party after a couple of hours to head to DC but we changed our mind and went back to Tysons Eciti instead where they had a Halloween costume contest.

Standard Time started that day so the clock was turned back an hour which gave us time to squeeze in a few dance moves on the dance floor.

I wonder what I’ll be for next Halloween………..
