CA concert
First, the Christina Aguilera concert was good. She really has powerful
pipes, she didn't waver from beginning to end. She is so tiny too, probably
a little over 5 feet. And skinny. The only thing big about her is her boobs -
(fake - because it didn't moved even when she was bouncing all over the place).
There were so many young girls in the crowd with their friends or their Moms - and
some gay guys, and senior
citizens.
The staging was elaborate (changed frequently) - so bold, colorful, circus/vegas style and just
oh so gay. :-)
There were transvestites, so much makeup,
shirtless male dancers, men on stilts and girls hanging from swings attached to the ceiling.
There was also a video of Christina in a tub, ... it implied that she was pleasuring herself.
It made me uncomfortable watching it since there were so many lil girls all over the place.
I think the senior citizens felt the same LOL
I wished she sang more ballads or slower songs. She only did 2 or 3.
Most of her songs were her modern take on jazz and blues music. A lot of belting and screaming.
Danity Kane did poorly. They were not very put together. They only sounded good when they sang their
hit song, 'showstoppin''.
I loved the PUssycat Dolls performance though. I was pleasantly surprised with the lead singer. She did an
a capella
and she nailed it.
They sang all their hit songs, they sounded and looked just as good on mtv.
