A public apology

Mar 08, 2005 06:48

It appears that yesterday I made an insensitive and uncaring post regarding the unfortunate events surrounding Nick Carter. I wish to make a public apology. I realize that I have offended several people on my friendlist, and for that and for my thoughtless post, I apologize! No offense was intended and I will be much more careful in the future ( Read more... )

a) You shouldn't have to apologize publicly for a friendslocked post.

b) You shouldn't have to apologize, period. I read what you wrote, it wasn't offensive and doesn't justify an apology.

c) People need to get a fucking life and understand that their opinions and thoughts don't rule the world. They're entitled to theirs, you're entitled to yours.

I agree with every word. you apologized *in* the post. You're a sweet, sensitive person, but I think that gets taken advantage of. You did nothing wrong. :)

Thank you so much for saying all of that! I guess I needed to hear it, cuz I really felt terrible about how what I said was taken. I really never meant to offend anyone. I really appreciate your support! Thank you! :)

I'm going to agree with Eva here. You are entitled to feel how you feel..and no one should make you feel bad about that. Sometimes we find humour in odd places, it doesn't make you a bad person. You should feel free to say what you want....I've been finding that out the hard way.

Yes it might offend people..but you can't be worried about that, they just don't understand. The majority of your friends still understand who you REALLY are. *hugs* If the others can't see that..then really they're the ones losing out. Not to say it doesn't hurt..but hopefully your true friends can make you feel better about being yourself.

Just adding my two cents worth and agreeing with everyone that there wasn't any need to apologise for what you said. It might be best to just ignore this, but then again, that's just my own opinion.

Well, I'm hoping that after I reply to everyone here, that this will just fade away. Thanks for commenting! I'm glad you did! :)

Oh puhleeze...people need to grow up. No apology needed for ME, anyway. I think it's dumb...even dumber now that his publicist said he's on prescribed meds and didn't realize that drinking would mess with them. What a blond bimbo.

You know, my whole thing was, I found humor in the situation, not what he was doing but that it happened to him just as BSB are preparing for the reunion. I was only referring to Nick Carter being involved - not what the offense was. At least, that's what I meant but I don't think I conveyed it right! Thanks, hon! :)
