004 (pro-bowl edition)

I just edited a few portions of my DJ set from Wednesday night to upload to the site, but I'm having some trouble. I'm gonna try and get to the bottom of it and hopefully have them up by tonight, or tomorrow at the latest.
DJing is going real well. My friend Renee reminded me yesterday that just a few months ago I told her that I kinda wanted to try DJing, that it was a secret dream of mine. That was in like October. And now I'm doing it. I've played a few places, I've got a weekly gig (Cush Wednesday nights 10-Close everybody...Aric Weston behind the bar!), and I'm pretty proud of the few sets I've done. So, mission accomplished I guess.
My goal for between now and the start of summertime is: have at least 2 gigs a week, have a short 4-5 song mix tape finished, and get better.

I was just watching that crappy Jockeys show on Animal Planet. There's this part where one of the dudes is all: "Jockeys have nothing to protect them out there...," and I was thinking, yeah they do, it's called common sense enough not to get on a 1,000 lb. animal and make it race around the track wicked fast. I've used that skill all my life and never broken my collarbone flying off a horse.

Milwaukee Summer Flag Football League planning starts right now. And I'm gonna go watch the Pro-Bowl. One Love!
