Grindr

I had previously deleted Grindr after everything went to shit with Jacob.  After a few days I had created my profile on there again, because it's the easiest way to find a guy.  That's how I met Nick.  That's also how I met Bradley, Dru, and Hagan.

I've talked about Nick already.

Bradley is the guy I invited over to hang out.  He was super boring, and it was really awkward.

Dru plays Pokemon Go on campus a lot.  My friend Nate was into him, so I yelled over to him to get Nate and Dru to talk.  It was awkward.  Nate didn't want to try anything, since they live over an hour apart.  Dru and I have been chatting a bit as friends.  I hung out with him for a bit the other night for Pokemon Go raid hour.  Maybe I will hang out with him as a friend again soon.

Hagan is a gay grad student.  We've been chatting a bit, but he seems too busy to hang out.  I'm going to continue chatting with him and see if I can get him to hang out.  If I can't, then I will just move on from that one.

Usually I have my profile pics up on Grindr.  It's kinda hard to then look for anything sexual, since I am a professor on campus.  So yesterday I tried something.  I took my pics down.  Modified my profile.  And guys messaged me interested.  My age still showed, so that's not the issue.  The second I showed my face pic, they were no longer interested.  So apparently I'm ugly.  That's fun.

Finally...this morning when I woke up, I was thinking about Jacob.  It's been almost two weeks since we last talked and that whole horrible night.  I logged on to Grindr this morning.  Jacob was on there.  Apparently not only has he moved back to campus (since classes start Monday), but he has created a new Grindr profile.  Which is odd, since he should be pretty committed to his boyfriend by now.  Unless they broke up.  Or are still dating but not serious?  I have no idea.  I shouldn't care.  But I do.  Ugh.

Anyway, time for a relaxing weekend.  The new season of Lucifer dropped on Netflix.  Netflix also recently added The Legend of Korra, which is a great show.  And then Hulu added the old ThunderCats cartoon.  That means I have a lot to watch online, plus I've started the second book of Wheel of Time.  Relax.  Breathe.  Don't think about Jacob.  Don't think about guys in general.

I can do this?
