It's been a while
I haven't posted in like a month. Even though I have a lot of time, I don't post. I am working 5 days a week on this Nintendo promotion that is a lot like the Street Team 2 years ago, but with a significantly less amount of cool. There is no meeting the press, no tour of Nintendo, no armada vehicle, no weekly challenges, just promotion, like any other company. It's kind of sad. What's even sadder is that I won't get paid till the end of the month! I have no money. I am about $100 overdraft and I say screw it. Let me be overdraft. I would rather spend my money on gas and food than having to throw it into the abyss that is my overdraft account. It sucks. I used to have a steady income. The week that my income was going to be significantly more than my bills was so close. Then I got canned and it screwed everything up. I am kind of bitter, especially since this whole testing this for Nintendo just hasn't happened yet. Who knows when that will happen.
I have found time to work on my editing projects, though. I finished a secret little project in a few days, the fastest I have ever finished a video, and am finishing up working on the Matrix video. It's hard. I only have a few clips that match the mood of the song, so it's difficult to get it going. The video is in 2 parts and the second part is done. The first part is what I am having a hard time with. I can't use dialogue because there is always some background noise or music that comes with it or they speak so softly that you can't hear them over the music. I don't know, it's like, I feel that when I show people the video they may wonder why I didn't do this or that and they will be too polite to ask me. They will just assume that I made a poor decision. I want to tell everyone how hard it is before they see it so that they understand that it wasn't a simple matter of putting dialogue in. I guess that is what this is.
I didn't have enough work to get to Northgate on the 4th for work, so my manager put $10 in my tank. I hate taking money from people. When I get paid, everyone will be paid back.
My computer was due for more problems and they came. My hard drive was erased. All of my projects, music, everything, is gone all over again. Thank goodness I have a website, otherwise I would never see my videos again. Mac FTW.
