WNEC visit
I love that place, I felt so at home this weekend that I am going to chronicle the entire trip here in my livejournal. Actually, I will start with Friday.
Friday morning I got up for work, but I didn't have to actually go so I went back to bed. I got up and got everything together then decided to grab breakfast where I met up with a bunch of kids from my floor (and Sam who I guess is still a 3rd floor kid in my head). Then I got on the metro and bus to head to BWI to come home! I got home around 2:30 and relaxed downstairs for a while before Ana came over to watch Instant Star. She didn't stay long because I needed to get up early to head to WNEC.
Now for the WNEC visit:
When I got to Bridgeport on the ferry, I saw Susanne, JD, and Anthony waiting for me (and apparently Susanne was singing My Heart Will Go On and she tried to take a picture of me, but I put Taboo over my face. The car ride was fun and we then went to Applebees. Matty and Garrett got lost so they didn't arrive at Apps until after Ben, Mark, Katy, and Meredith left. They also had Jess, Ashley, and Ashley's brother with them. We stayed at lunch until about 2:30 then went to the liquor store and back to WNEC. Breen met me in her room and we did arts and crafts aka made door tags for all of the CW RAs. We hung out there for a while then went over to Dan's room around 5:30 and went out to dinner with Jon around 6:30 to Rubys. After dinner, we stopped at Stop and Shop for movies/drink mixers. I went back to Breen's room and mixed my drinks then she went to LaRiv/Hamden and I headed down to Gateway. Originally I was going to go to Amanda's first, but I stopped over at the guys' and hung out with Tanner/played Wii. Next stop was Amanda's where JD and Nick met up with me and while I was there I drank a good amount very fast. Once the boys joined me, we went over to see Kar for a bit then to Laura's where I also saw Mer and Katy again. When we left there, I went to see Nick's baby turtles then they walked my drunk ass back up to Commonwealth. I was going to go to Jeremy's room when I found Mike in the hall. I ended up going to his room when Jeremy didn't answer his door then we hung out there for a while where Jeremy joined us then did a round and Mike went out so I went back to Breen's. Around 3am, Jeremy kicked my ass at MarioKart then I headed to bed.
Sunday I woke up pretty early and Breen and I just relaxed in her room while I waited for Anthony to wake up so I could give him my ID. During this time I also decided that I was going to stay an extra day because of the Westerner Staff Dinner...because I'm on the staff lol. Anyway, we watched movies while Breen studied and stuff then we met up with Dan for dinner. After dinner, we went to Dan's for a bit before the CAB movie We Are Marshall where I got to see the CAB kids again. After the movie, I went down to the guys' to play Taboo where Susanne joined me. It was so much fun though I was a little shocked when Chris said he would have stuck around for the weekend if he knew I was coming...weird. Joe was also there to play -- it was a pretty fair game, so we accepted defeat. Chris also gave me Grey Goose so when I got back to CW I was a little drunk but there was no one to entertain me (I probably should have stayed down there) I went online and talked to people until I sobered up.
Monday, I woke up with Breen and met up with Laura for breakfast and Jeremy ended up joining us, so it was like old times lol. Then I went to Baick's office and Dawson's office then stopped by the Office of Freshmen and Transfer Students for a bit before meeting Jon to get the copy of the Westerner to copyedit. From there I went to student activities to see Johanna and Mary Lou for a bit before lunch then after lunch I went back to SA until Jo was off work. Then I editted the paper and brought it to the office before just hanging out in Breen's room. I went to the Westerner Staff Meeting then the Dinner at Texas Roadhouse. When I got back on campus, I went to the guys' place and got to see Neal and meet his gf before getting Laura and heading to La Riv to watch...She's the Man (of course). After the movie, I borrowed The Departed from Jeremy to fall asleep too...now I really want to watch the movie.
This morning, Susanne and Anthony took me back to the Ferry and Ana picked me up in Bridgeport.
Life is good.
And I might live in Evergreen next year.
No matter what happens in another situation tonight, I'll be fine.
